greenfield.solar connects those who invest in solar PV, agrivoltaic and BESS projects in Italy with those who know how to develop them, from greenfield to RTB.
What we do
We work with several professionals who can develop projects from greenfield to RTB. Our job is to understand what an investor is looking for, introduce the right developer and help both sides set up a milestone-based co-development, in which the developer's fee is tied to the success of the deal.
We cover three technologies: ground-mounted solar PV, agrivoltaics and BESS storage.
What we do not do
- We do not develop projects ourselves: the professionals we work with do.
- We do not sign the co-development agreement: investor and developer sign it, directly.
- We do not assess land or rooftops offered by owners.
- We do not publish project lists or figures.
How we work
It starts with a WhatsApp message or an enquiry through the form. Once we have your criteria we introduce the parties and stay with them until they reach an agreement. Our advisory engagement is set out in writing before work starts, and confidential information is exchanged after a non-disclosure agreement.
We work with investors, funds, IPPs and EPCs and with developers and engineering firms, in English and Italian.
