The problem we solve
RTB projects available in Italy are fought over and priced accordingly. Anyone who wants a pipeline of their own has to come in earlier, while the project is still greenfield. But that takes a solar project developer working locally, and finding the right one from abroad, or from an office far from the area, is hard.
This is what we do: we work with several professionals who can develop projects from greenfield to RTB, and we introduce them to the investors who need them.
What we do for you
- We take your criteria. Technology, size per project and overall, Italian regions of interest, the stage at which you want to come in.
- We introduce the right developer. A professional who works on that technology and in those areas.
- We help you set up the co-development. Scope, milestones, fee logic: you come to the table with aligned expectations.
- You sign directly with the developer. The co-development agreement is between the two of you.

Why milestone-based co-development
Because it ties spending to results. The developer's fee falls due when the project reaches the agreed stages: if a stage is not reached, the fee tied to it does not fall due. The details are on the page about milestone-based co-development.
Our role, stated plainly
greenfield.solar is an advisory service for investors and developers. We are not a party to the co-development agreement and we do not develop projects ourselves. Our fee is governed by an advisory engagement agreed before work starts. Confidential information is exchanged after a non-disclosure agreement.

Yes. The site is available in English and we can handle contacts in English.
At which stage can we come in?
From greenfield, with a development plan set up together with the developer. If you are looking for more advanced projects, say so in the form and we will tell you what is possible.
Do you publish a list of projects?
No. There are no project lists or teasers on this site: we start from your criteria.
